Abstract:
During the process of national rise, both China and Japan have faced technological sanctions from the United States. China and Japan were both the largest economies and trading nations in Asia at that time, but they had vastly different performances in the tech war. China not only did not fall into the "lost thirty years"like Japan, but also gradually achieved technological self-reliance and self-improvement in multiple fields with sanctions. Why does China's high–tech industry stand firm? From the perspective of political economic research, it can be found that the key measures include improving the new national system in the field of science and technology, consolidating the centralized and unified leadership of the Party over financial work, building a new development pattern and promoting the modernization of the national security system. These measures enable China to effectively respond to external shocks from the supply chain, financial markets, and ideological fields. The proposal of these measures also reflects the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. In the foreseeable trend of normalized technological warfare in the future, efforts should be made to coordinate efforts in the three dimensions of technology, capital, and market, and continue to promote the stable and far-reaching development of China's high-tech industry.
