灵活就业、社会资本与生育行为——基于中国综合社会调查数据的实证分析

摘要:

随着数字经济发展,灵活就业将成为育龄群体重要就业渠道,影响居民生育行为,而社会资本具有重要机制作用。利用中国综合社会调查数据,实证分析灵活就业对居民生育行为影 响以及社会资本的机制作用。灵活就业显著提高居民生育行为,对二孩生育行为促进作用最大,灵活就业更能提高东部地区高学历最佳育龄女性居民生育行为。降低居民社会资本不利于居民生育行为,尤其会显著降低男孩生育数量,社交网络和社会参与起负向机制作用,且社会参与负向作用最大。需优化社会保障以丰裕灵活就业者社会资本,共创生育友好型社会支持体系。

Abstract:

With the development of the digital economy, flexible employment will become an important employment channel for the childbearing age group, which will significantly affect the reproductive behavior of residents, and social capital plays an important mechanism role. Using the data from the Chinese General Social Survey, this paper empirically analyzes the influence of flexible employment on residents' reproductive behavior, and the mechanism of social capital. Flexible employment significantly improves the reproductive behavior of residents, and has the greatest effect on the promotion of second-child reproductive behavior. Flexible employment can improve the reproductive behavior of the best female residents of childbearing age with higher education in the eastern China. Flexible employment is detrimental to residents' reproductive behavior by reducing resident's social capital, especially by significantly reducing the number of boys. Social networks and social participation play a negative mechanism role, and social participation has the largest negative effect. It is necessary to optimize social security to enrich the social capital of flexible workers and create a childbearing-friendly social support system.
