Abstract:

At the historic intersection of a new global industrial revolution and China's accelerating shift from old to new growth drivers, developing new quality productive forces has become both an inherent requirement and a critical focus for advancing high–quality economic development in China. The principal contradiction lies in the inability of large–scale production methods to meet increasingly diversified and upgraded consumption demands. Therefore, it is essential to lever-age general-purpose technologies—such as big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing—to reshape business processes. This includes flattening internal organizational structures, multi–level production networks across firms, and building a highly coordinated digital–industrial ecosystem. These measures constitute not only the fundamental direction of real–digital economy integration, but also an imperative requirement for cultivating new quality productive forces.Throughout this process, advancing technological innovation, reforming talent development mechanisms, and adopting an enterprise–led approach stand as key measures to drive breakthroughs in core technologies, transform production relations, and ultimately achieve new quality productive forces.
