Abstract: Labor is a fundamental means for individuals to create a beter life and achieve comprehensivedevelopment. Drawing on data from the 2020 wave of the Panel Study of Family Dynamics( PSFD ) in 'Taiwan and integratingMaslow's hierarchy of needs theory with the theory of employment potential utility, this study develops a three-dimensionaframework of employment quality, comprising survival, development, and relationship dimensions. Using this frameworkwe analyze how these employment quality dimensions alfect workers’ well-being. The findings indicate that : ( 1 ) Improvecemployment quality enhances both positive affect and cognitive well-being while mitigating negative allect, leading to enhanced overall well-being;( 2 ) Among the three dimensions of employment quality, relationship quality has the strongesiimpact on well-being, followed by development quality, while survival quality shows the weakest contribution; ( 3 ) 'Thewell-being elfects of employment quality demonstrate notable group heterogeneity, with relationship quality showing stronge!ellects for workers in developed regions, higher socioeconomic groups, and younger age cohorts. 'Through the lens of the“ hierarchy of labor value” model proposed in this study, we identify a stratified logic in the formation of labor-relatecwell--being, olfering a conceptual reference for tailoring policy responses to the differentiated needs of diverse labor groups.
